English Language LearnersIn order to learn English, you must start with its building blocks which are the sounds of the alphabet. Once the alphabet is learned, students have an automatic entre into the pronunciation of the words. Learning the pronunciation and spelling of English letters and words is actually easier because of the Animal Letters and Body Signals. Since Zoo-phonics uses a physical response with each word (example: spelling out words through the Body Signals), the students are able to read and write more independently, mastering word meaning and syntax at the same time.Children can then begin to build their English language “lexicons” as they learn the phonemes that will be used to build hundreds of thousands of words.
